Accent bolsters team with two senior consultant hires

LONDON - Market research agency Accent is expanding its team by recruiting two new consultants including qualitative director Anton Turner.

Alongside Turner, Margaret O'Connor has been appointed as associate director, heading up projects in FMCG and the wider retail market.

Turner has more than 15 years' experience in qualitative research and has worked in this field in his native New Zealand, the US, Canada and the UK.

He is the author of a book on qualitative research methods and holds a PhD in psychology. Turner is also involved in developing new qualitative techniques looking beyond focus groups.

O'Connor is joining from Research Now, where she was client services director, having previously worked in the US for Spectra. She has also held responsibility for all UK brand research at General Mills.

Rob Sheldon, managing director of Accent, said: "These are very exciting times for Accent as we undergo a period of considerable growth.

"Anton and Margaret will bring valuable experience to our team, strengthening our expertise and allowing us to develop new and innovative techniques to offer our clients."
