When users hear a song they like on Absolute Radio via their new iPod Nano, they can tag, preview and purchase that song when they next sync to iTunes.

Absolute Radio Breakfast Show DJ Christian O'Connell launched the new service for listeners this morning (26 November).

The technology was implemented by Unique Interactive, the software division of UBC Media Group, the media industry content and software supplier

The tagging software will enable listeners to identify the track title and the artist, and then purchase it.

UBC now plans to roll out implementation of iTunes tagging throughout Europe.
