Hilger joined InBev last year as marketing director of its UK and Ireland operations, prior to the brewer's acquisition of Anheuser-Busch (AB) in November.
Vicki Kipling, UK marketing director at AB, has left the company, along with most of her 20-strong team. Its in-house media buying arm, Busch Media, has been disbanded.
It is understood that Kipling, who had joined AB in 2002, having previously worked at St Ivel, Black & Decker and food group Uniq, declined a senior marketing role at AB InBev. Last year she oversaw a switch in Budweiser's brand positioning to one based on music and its US heritage.
AB's office in Richmond, Surrey, will remain in operation, but it is believed that staff there will eventually be reloca-ted to InBev's Luton base.
AB InBev has said it will retain its existing agencies. Mother holds the global ad account for Stella Artois, while Budweiser is handled by Fallon.
Last month, David Dryden, vice-president and managing director of AB UK, left the business after 17 years. This followed the announcement that InBev president Stuart MacFarlane would continue in the role at the combined company in the UK and Ireland.
