2CV appoints TBWA's Strada in qualitative role

LONDON - Research business 2CV has appointed TBWA/London's digital strategy director Nicole Strada as associate vice-president of qualitative research.

Strada will join 2CV's San Francisco office and will be responsible for enhancing the company's technology offering and building partnerships with advertising agencies. 2CV's clients include COI, News International and Nokia.

In addition to Strada's digital role at TBWA, she was also lead planner on its PlayStation account and worked on the UK launches of the PSP and PlayStation 3. She also oversaw the brand's development across Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

The new role will see Strada reporting to 2CV vice-president of qualitative research Remi Abbas. She will be working on integrated quantitative and qualitative projects as well as managing long-standing client Electronic Arts.

Vincent Nolan, chief executive and founder of 2CV, said Strada had been appointed for her "deep understanding of the gaming sector" and her "profound understanding of consumer behaviour".

He said: "She represents the best fit for our culture and global expansion plans; a west coast native with a heritage in gaming, communications planning and research and I’m delighted that she accepted our offer to help establish the San Francisco office."
