For the first time, the marketers who have made the 2014 Power 100 Next Generation are featured alongside their mentors.
Our stars span the marketing industry, including marketers from Axe/Lynx, O2 and Microsoft UK. Autos brands BMW UK and Citroën also have rising stars in the list, while rivals Unilever and Procter and Gamble contribute stars to the list.
In media, marketers from Channel 4 and BSkyB provided inspiration. Meanwhile, Sainsbury's is the only supermarket to have a star featured in the list.
Meet James Brennan, 27 and his mentor, Tomas Marcenaro
Brennan, senior global brand manager at Axe/Lynx, is "humble...and always open to seeing new things," says Marcenaro. His consumer sensitivity, intellectual power and use of the language have made him stand out.
Meet Claire Cardosi, 26, and her mentor Jules Tilstone
Tilstone says he first noticed her "genuine energy and confidence" when Cardosi, now CRM marketing manager, joined Citroen. Her can-do attitude, he says, has made her stand out among her peers.
Meet Clare Coughlan, 29, and her mentor Katrina Ward-Smith
Coughlan (left) is the head of brand guardianship at O2 and describes herself as "chirpy, novel, restless" while Ward-Smith, her mentor, believes it is her maturity that makes her stand out.
Meet Phil Evans, 29, and his mentor Jonathan Hulse
Evans (left) is marketing communications lead at Microsoft and describes himself as "tenacious, driven, passionate". Hulse, his mentor, agrees, adding that he is purposeful and collaborative.
Meet Carli Farmer, 28, and her mentor Lyssa McGowan
Farmer's (right) creativity and passion made her stand out, says McGowan. Farmer, who is currently the head of brand marketing at BSkyB describes herself as optimistic.
Meet Nicola Green, 29, and her mentor Uwe Dreher
Dreher advised Green to "stay true to yourself and be authentic". He says the brand and launch communications manager at BMW UK has "a truly international mindset".
Meet Sarah Hardman, 28, and her mentor Catherine Kehoe
Kehoe says Hardman, who is the senior marketing manager at Lloyds Banking Group, is relentlessly enthusiastic and delivers "very strong" work for Halifax. It was her "can-do" attitude that made her stand out, Kehoe adds.
Meet Dan Jalalpour, 26, and his mentor Roisin Donnelly
Jalalpour is the business leader for P&G Prestige UK & Ireland and descibes himself as "passionate, agile, competitive". His mentor, Donnelly, agrees, adding that his passion for learning has also helped him stand out.
Meet Helen McGrath, 29, and her mentor Helen Hunter
McGrath (right) says seeing her ideas turned into reality first attracted her to marketing. Hunter says that the senior rewards and retention manager at Sainsbury's can teach others how to "start with the customer".
Meet Laura Ward, 31, and her mentor James Walker
Ward, the group marketing manager for drama, acquisitions and Film4 at Channel 4 Television says that she likes the "mix of creative and strategic challenges". Walker, her mentor, says she is "the complete marketing manager".
