Zurich launches the first stage of its pounds 10m UK branding drive
this week with a poster campaign promoting its general insurance
business. In a move to establish itself as a household name and take on
the UK’s established players, the Swiss insurance company will place
1500 posters on road, rail, and Underground sites across the UK,
extending to other media later in the year. Zurich will also sponsor an
educational children’s programme on Channel 4 later in the year. A
Zurich spokesman said: ’The sponsorship aims to highlight the
compassionate values behind Zurich’s business policies.’
