LONDON (Brand Republic) – Zenith Media has triumphed in the estimated $500m pitch for Verizon, the US telecoms company formed from the merger of GTE and Bell Atlantic, following a three-way pitch.
Zenith handled the media buying for Bell Atlantic, one of the seven Baby Bells formed when AT&T was broken up 1984, and pitched against TN Media and GTE incumbents MediaCom and MindShare.
The win pushes Zenith’s US billings above $3bn.
Bozell handles the $50m creative account for the newly merged telecoms company.
