LONDON (Brand Republic) – Zenith Entertainment, the independent producer of TV programmes and feature films, is expected to go under the hammer this week.
Zenith, formerly the film and drama division of Central Independent Television, is owned by a group of venture capitalists. It is being sold through Henderson Crosthwaite and is expected to carry a price tag of at least £30m.
Zenith had been in advanced discussions with United News & Media. The talks were abandoned when United’s merger plans with Carlton fell through.
Zenith is known for producing Inspector Morse, Byker Grove and its spin-off children’s programme, Ant & Dec.
