
She will be the first ISES female president for more than a decade and takes over from current president Will Broome. In her new role, which starts at the beginning of July, she will be responsible for delivering the UK Chapter's vision for her 12 months at the helm.
Broome said: "We are delighted that Zanine has accepted the position. Her leadership skills and international contacts within the event industry will be a huge asset to the ISES UK Chapter."
Adams added: "We have the world's biggest event coming to London in 2012, so this is the time for the industry to step forward, work together and show global businesses that events are still the most effective way of communicating and engaging stakeholders."
ISES wil be hosting its annual education conference at Disneyland Paris in April this year.
