The Young Media Lions consists of 28 international teams.
The client for this year's contingent is Malaria No More. Founded in 2006 the charity's goals are to unlock funding to reduce malaria deaths and cases by 90 per cent by 2030, to help unite world leaders behind the vision of ending malaria within a generation, and to invest in anti-malaria programmes in Africa and help protect 20 million people from the killer disease.
Providing the brief to the young media contingent yesterday, Claire Hoffman, communications and media director at charity Malaria No More, said: "We want you to come up with an innovative media campaign that will inspire at least 20 major businesses and high net-worth individuals to join the The Malaria 2030 Group.
"They will be part of a game-changing coalition seeking to help end deaths from malaria. Our partners should feel this battle is a long-term priority and one they should support with conviction."
