The online review site and Mexican chipotle sauce brand Kankun will stage the event at Spitalfields Market on 10 September from 12pm to 6pm, together with the Mexican Chamber of Commerce, showcasing the best of Mexico.
The event will feature food, drinks, entertainment and fun, including tacos, paleta, Mexican sweets, cheeses and tequila. A luchador ring with real Mexican wrestlers will also be set up. Entrance will be via free check-in on Yelp or a £10 donation to the event's charity of choice, Mision Mexico.
Food partners on the day include Cafe Pacifico, Latiendita, Lupita Restaurants and Tasty Mexico with entertainment from Lucha Libre World and AyQueChula, among others.
Yelp has done several activations based around food, including this year's and an , which took place last August at the Kids Adventure Playground in London's Hackney.
