Yahoo signs ad deal with Media Corp

Yahoo Search Marketing has agreed a partnership with online media company Media Corporation to provide search results and ads across its publishing network.

Media Corp's network, which includes TV site www.onthebox.com, www.gambling.com and www.sport.co.uk, has three million unique monthly users, generating 15 million monthly advertising impressions, predominantly in the UK.

Since most of Media Corp's advertising is banner and display-based, the inclusion of Yahoo search advertising will provide an additional revenue stream. Yahoo will also run ads relevant to the varied content across Media Corp's range of sites.

AIM-listed Media Corp has two main divisions - website publishing and online advertising, which focuses on advertising formats, networks and site representation. Clients include AOL and Coca-Cola.
