McCann Erickson has created a TV spot for Xbox 360 to raise awareness of the game console in Spain and to demonstrate that Xbox is the best place to play next generation high-definition games. The ad opens on a typical Spanish tapas bar with a group of locals inside animatedly watching a football match, with commentry by Spain's famous pundit Manolo Lama, without realising they are actually watching in-game footage. Behind the bar we see two young men giggling as they are playing the football game that the crowd are watching on their Xbox 360 wireless controllers. After having enough of seeing his team play so badly a man pulls the TV off the wall. The spot closes with the line "it's football, it's real, it's Xbox 360".
