WWAV Rapp Collins Scotland wins Learndirect task

LONDON - Learndirect Scotland has appointed WWAV Rapp Collins Scotland as its direct marketing agency after a three-way pitch.

WWAV won the account, the spend for which was undisclosed, after a pitch against Advantage DDB and incumbent agency Navigator.

The activity will include responsive campaigns across a range of media including mailers, inserts and off-the-page advertising targeting business and consumer sectors.

Raine Davidson, Learndirect Scotland's consumer marketing manager, said: "We're keen to build on our current direct marketing activity and take this on to the next level."

Learndirect Scotland's remit is to promote high-quality, flexible lifelong learning opportunities for everyone regardless of age, background or ability.

John Young, managing director at WWAV, said: "This is a big win for us and a great start to the year."

Alongside the main campaign there is also a campaign targeting businesses, Leardirect Scotland for Business, which has been established to help Scottish businesses access vital training for their workforces at a time when skills gaps are the subject of concern to employers.
