WPP acquires Dutch agency

Enterprise IG, the WPP Group-owned brand and identity consultancy unit, has bought a 55% stake in Amsterdam-based identity and interactive agency Visser Bay Anders Toscani.

LONDON (Brand Republic) - Enterprise IG, the WPP Group-owned brand and identity consultancy unit, has bought a 55% stake in Amsterdam-based identity and interactive agency Visser Bay Anders Toscani.

VBAT, which employs 90 people, will change its name to VBAT Enterprise IG with immediate effect and is in negotiations to sell the remaining 45% to WPP.

VBAT clients include Libertel and Smiths Food Group. It has net assets of NLG3.265m (£946,714).
