The World: Toronto - TBWA\Canada names Jay Bertram as its president

Jay Bertram (pictured) has been appointed the president of TBWA\Canada.

Bertram, 45, has worked at TBWA for the past four years, heading an office of 85 and working across clients including Nissan, Apple and Infiniti. The new role extends his remit from TBWA\Toronto to include the Vancouver and Montreal offices.

Before joining TBWA, Bertram worked at Cossette Communications, latterly as a partner. He helped win clients including McDonald's and Bell Mobility.

Tom Carroll, the TBWA\Worldwide vice-chairman, said: "Jay's done a great job with the Toronto office.

He knows Canada, loves Canada and we are glad he will now be leading TBWA\Canada."
