The World: Stockholm - Aegis buys Swedish digital agency

Aegis Group is bolstering its global digital network, Isobar, with the purchase of the Swedish online creative outfit Farfar.

The agency, which was awarded a Grand Prix at Cannes in 2001 for its Milko campaign, becomes the 48th agency to join Isobar in the largest acquisition deal for Aegis' Nordic division. Farfar was founded in 2000 and lists Nokia Red Bull and Heineken among its clients. All Farfar's 20 staff will remain with the company.

Isobar has acquired ten agencies in the past seven months, the most recent before Farfar being the UK-based agency de-construct.
