The World: Paris - Havas unveils increase in operating profit to EUR168m

Havas has reported a 39 per cent year-on-year increase in operating profit to EUR168 million (£128 million), as part of some of its best results since 2000. The company's net income was up 81 per cent to EUR83 million, with an organic revenue growth of 7.1 per cent in 2007.

Meanwhile, the Havas chairman, Vincent Bollore, has said he is waiting for Aegis to report its annual results on 19 March before making a new move to take over the business. His intentions were first revealed in ±±¾©Èü³µpk10 on 8 February 2008.
