The World: New York - Royer appointed as creative director for Droga5

Droga5, the Publicis-backed creative boutique set up by Dave Droga, the network's former worldwide creative chief, has hired Ted Royer as its executive creative director.

A one-time roving global creative director at Publicis, Royer was recently at Publicis USA in New York where he oversaw the agency's Heineken business.

In his new role, Royer will oversee all advertising, new-media and creative content for Droga5's clients, which include Unicef and Red Bull.

Royer, winner of two Cannes Lions, has worked in Singapore, Argentina and Australia during an 11-year agency career.
