World: Los Angeles - David & Goliath president leaves

Skip Sullivan, the president and chief operating officer of the Los Angeles agency David & Goliath, is leaving weeks after the agency retained its $270 million Kia Motors of America account.

Sullivan said he was leaving advertising to run the business side of his wife's clothing business.

Kia, the Korean car manufacturer, transferred its account to David & Goliath in 2000 without a review, but put the account out to pitch in June last year.

The finalists in the review were GSD&M, Cramer Krasselt and Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners.
