The World: Beijing - Beckham fronts China campaign for Motorola phone

David Beckham is expected to make his first public appearance in China later this month in his role as Motorola's global ambassador. He is leading a campaign by the handset manufacturer to launch its RAZR V8 luxury edition.

The campaign revolves around the Motorola Beckham Beijing Kick-off, with buyers of the new phone eligible to win tickets for the event at the National Olympic Games Centre.

Separately, Nivea, the personal care brand, has selected Agency.com to handle its digital marketing in China after a competitive pitch. The brief includes developing a Chinese language website.
