The World: Batavia - Unilever denies Dove airbrushing allegations

Unilever and the celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz have denied that the pictures featured in Ogilvy & Mather's "campaign for real beauty" for Dove were airbrushed.

Pascal Dangin, the retoucher who works with Leibovitz, had told The New Yorker magazine about the challenge to keep everyone showing the mileage, but not looking unattractive. He now says the only retouching was for "colour correction" and taking dust off the film.
