#MyBeautyMySay campaign from Ogilvy tells the stories of women once judged by their looks
A group of women share how they shook off society’s expectations of beauty in Dove’s new #MyBeautyMySay campaign. The 90-second compilation spot from Ogilvy follows Heather, a boxer; Rain, an androgynous model; Jessica, a plus-size fashion blogger; Grace, a burlesque dancer; Marcia, a lawyer; and Hannah, a photographer who began snapping pictures of men who catcalled her. Each of those six women also stars in a shorter spot dedicated to their individual story. Dove also conducted a study that found 70% of women get more compliments on their looks than their achievements.
