Hotels.com knows that life isn't always rewarding. In new films from Crispin Porter & Bogusky, the marketer brings back its forthright spokesman, Captain Obvious. It's been a year since he ran for president, earning him a Cannes Lion, and now the captain returns to tell consumers, well, the obvious. Like the fact that binge-watching your favorite TV series isn't aways rewarding because you miss important milestones such as grandpa's 99th birthday—and even his death. In addition to the spots, the campaign includes radio, social media, an interactive online video, influencer partnerships and interviews with Captain Obvious at Radio Row in Phoenix during March Madness.
