McConaughey and JWT NY take a glass of bourbon on a musical journey

Matthew McConaughey makes his directorial debut with his first work for Wild Turkey, a month after the Academy Award-winning actor was named a creative director for the bourbon brand. The 30-second TV spot from J. Walter Thompson New York also stars McConaughey, and he selected the music that plays throughout. As a player piano gives way to a brass-heavy number, a glass of Wild Turkey makes its way from a speakeasy to a hilltop bonfire and McConaughey’s waiting hand. The campaign includes global broadcast, print and digital content.
