Wieden & Kennedy Amsterdam will run the activity, which begins with next year's launch of Honda's new hybrid family five-door, the Honda Insight. W&K London will continue to lead the Honda UK business.
Initial work will focus on the launch of the Honda Insight and establish an ongoing environmental theme for Honda products, ranging across cars, motorcycles and power equipment. The campaign is expected to run across Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia.
Wieden & Kennedy has worked with Honda UK since 2001, creating campaigns including 'Cog', 'Power of Dreams' and 'Grrr'.
Last year Wieden & Kennedy was appointed to develop a campaign for Honda in the Asia-Pacific region to promote its fuel-efficient engines.
