Wheel has recruited four people to its creative department and three to its production department following a number of successful pitches including the further development of the British Gas website.
Acton-Bond, who worked with McDonald's, Shell and Walkers at The Marketing Store and has more than 15 years' experience in marketing, will take responsibility for all of Wheel's briefing and scheduling processes.
The creative team is further enhanced with the arrival of creative group head Paul Knott from Modem Media, where he worked on the HP account.
He will be managing the BT account, as well as ensuring a consistent and challenging creative output across the team.
New recruits Catherine Pitts-Tucker, from Modem Media, and Joseph Rufian, who freelanced for Holomatix, will also join the creative team as senior designer and senior Flash designer respectively.
The production team expansion includes: Jonathan Acton, who has worked with the BBC, NTL and Virgin, as head of production; Stephen Tolfree, from NYKRIS Digital Design, as executive producer; and Katherine Wheston, from Wyndham International, as producer.
Ewen Sturgeon, Wheel's managing director, said: "The expansion of both our production and creative teams marks a very exciting time for Wheel.
"All of our new members have been carefully selected to ensure that they are passionate and committed to the work we produce for our clients and we are delighted to have candidates of the calibre of Jonathan and Jane on board."
