Launched by Bristol-based agency Engage last month, the service uses QR codes to promote a brand on Facebook through photos taken at events.

Brand ambassadors take photos of a visitor holding a card marked with a personal QR code on it, provided by Pic2Go. A silly pose should be particularly effective.

After the event, visitors eager to see their shot redeem a unique code online and accept the event’s Facebook app. Their photo – framed with your branding and with a link to your website – is posted automatically to their Facebook news feed.

Pic2Go can be used for competitions, where having your photo taken and accepting the app enters you into a draw.

The photos can be taken on any digital camera as Pic2Go's software does all the fiddly stuff for you.
