Westfield London splits with Adam & Eve

The £1.6bn shopping centre in West London, which opened in October last year, handed the £5m account to Adam & Eve following a pitch. However, the agency's recent appointment to the £20m John Lewis account in February has led the agency stepping down from the business.

Westfield's nearest competitor shopping centre is Brent Cross where John Lewis has a department store. It also has stores nearby in Oxford Street and Chelsea.  Adam and Eve was working on advertising for the launch of Westfield Stratford, the new shopping centre which will be opened in time for the Olympics in 2012.

It is understood Adam and Eve's final campaign for the shopping centre will be a new spring campaign launching in coming weeks
