The Virtual Reality Show runs from 20-22 April, and invites guests to experience the latest in technological innovations, as well as giving them the opportunity to attend exclusive activations from brands such as . Other experiences include a VR exploration of Audi's latest models, a theatre production conducted entirely via VR and a King Kong: Skull Island experience which brings the monster to life through technology. The show is taking place at the Business Design Centre in Islington, and promises interactive, immersive and innovative experiences.
For the sixth instalment of the gin brand's London Tonic Series, Beefeater will stage a 'Sip-Hop' event at its distillery in South London on 22 April. Guests will be able to enjoy a hip-hop dance show with dances taken from hit show Smother. The event aims to explore the themes of obsession and the meaning of commitment via an intimate performance, which will document the relationship of two young men. The excerpts on offer for guests at the Beefeater event will illustrate the high and low points of the subjects' relationship, as well as showcasing the variety of hip-hop dance styles.
Catering service La Belle Assiette is staging a dining experience on 22 April that requires guests to bring their own crockery. The company's name translates as 'the beautiful plate', and for this event La Belle Assiette is asking its guests to bring along their favourite, weirdest or most wonderful plate for the culinary experience. Chefs will then work with the plate and guests' dietary requirements to concoct something unique. The colour, texture, glaze and shape of each plate will determine how the food will look when it is served, and diners are encouraged to take snaps for their social media channels. Guests will be able to enjoy a three-course Michelin quality meal, served alongside Nicolas Feuillatte champagne, which will complement the meals created by the chefs.
