Father Christmas at Hamleys
Children and their families are being invited to Hamleys this Saturday to meet Father Christmas. The toy store is welcoming guests to hear Christmassy stories, meet Santa's elves and play games. In addition, Santa will be on hand to help youngsters to write their Christmas wish lists. There will be sessions for 2-5-year-olds, as well as 6-8-year-olds. The grotto will launch at 9am on 26 November, and will remain open until 24 December at Hamleys stores in Regent St, Glasgow, Cardiff, Manchester, Dublin and intu Lakeside.

After joining forces with gastro-physicist Professor Charles Spence and Swedish music producer Axel Boman, restaurant booking platform Bookatable is set to launch the first musical menus festival this Sunday. The festival aims to highlight how sound and music can affect the taste of food by providing guests with musical menus. Special playlists, which have created to match the tone of the menus, will take visitors on a sensory journey while they dine and enjoy their food.

Baby retail brand, Mamas and Papas, has created an event designed for parents-to-be. Taking place on 27 November, the brand is inviting future parents to their local retail outlet to recieve expert help and meet other parents. Guests will be able get advice on car seat safety and fitting, first aid, better sleeping for baby and parent, nutrition for pregnancy and finding the perfect pushchair. Advice will be on hand from midwives, there will be drinks and nibbles available, as well as a free goodie bag.
