The Week: People news - Gardam takes Ofcom role

Tim Gardam, a former director of programmes at Channel 4, has been appointed as a non-executive director of the communications regulator Ofcom along with Colette Bowe, the founding chairman of the Ofcom consumer panel. The board, which provides strategic guidance for the regulator, now consists of seven non-executive and three executive directors.
