Mark Cranmer, a consultant at Carat UK, has been appointed the chairman of the Joint Industry Committee for Internet Measurement Systems, and will be responsible for introducing a single online measurement panel, akin to the Barb TV panel. He is expected to begin tendering for a research company that can handle an online measurement system by the end of the year.
