Mike Barnes, the director of marketing at the Direct Marketing Association, has left his position after ten years in the position.

He will move to British Eventing, the trade body that governs events such as dressage and show jumping, as its commercial and marketing director. Barnes became the DMA's first ever director of marketing when he joined the association from his role as Emap's marketing director across its consumer titles in 1999.
