In a speech to the Institute for Public Policy Research, Mr Gove said the Conservative Party would ask "tough questions" of proprietors of magazines such as Nuts and Zoo as to "what they think they're doing". Mr Gove, the shadow secretary of state for children, schools and families, said the magazines painted women as "permanently and uncomplicatedly available".
