The Week: Media News - The Sun trims sellers' cut

News International is to reduce the margin that retailers receive from sales of The Sun.

The publisher has decided to pay retailers on the basis of a standard coverprice of 30p, rather than its 35p coverprice. Retailers will receive 6.96p on every copy sold instead of 8.12p.
