BSkyB has written to the BBC Trust to raise concerns over the handling of the proposed launch of the Project Canvas internet TV service.
Sky said that it had "serious concerns" over the Trust's handling of a consultation over the market impact and public value that Canvas will offer. It has called again for Ofcom to conduct an independent market assessment.
