London Lite is set to close following news that its owner, Associated Newspapers, has announced a consultation over the future of the freesheet.
The publisher is talking to London Lite's 36 staff about their prospects and the possible closure of the title. The move follows the London Evening Standard going free earlier this month and the closure of the News International freesheet thelondonpaper in September.
