The Week: City news - Mixed fortunes for Decaux

JCDecaux's UK revenues have declined by 3.3 per cent year on year in the first half of 2008, but growth overseas helped the company post a 4.8 per cent rise in revenues to EUR1.07 billion (£842 million).

The company saw particularly strong performances in North America, Asia-Pacific and in the "rest of the world", each of which achieved double-digit revenue growth. UK revenues totaled EUR123 million (£96.8 million) in the first half of 2008, down EUR146.2 million (£115 million) a year earlier.
