STV Group, the owner of Scotland's ITV franchise, has reported a pre-tax profit of £700,000 in the first half of the year, down from £4.5 million last year. Revenues were £48.8 million, down from £75.6 million, partly due to the disposal of Virgin Radio in June 2008.
