The Week: City News - C&C reviews £7.4m pledge

C&C Group, the owner of the cider brand Magners, is reviewing the £7.4 million figure that it pledged to invest in marketing next year, after seeing a sharp decline in revenues for the first half of its financial year.

The group, which this week handed The Red Brick Road the ad account for its Magners brand, revealed that revenue for the six months to 31 August came in at £237 million, a fall of 10.5 per cent.
