The Week: Brand - Coca-Cola water plan

Coca-Cola is set to launch a new UK bottled water brand, three years after it was forced to pull its Dasani brand off the shelves.

Reports say that the company is looking at sources in Wales, and at Chaudfontaine in Belgium. It is not expected to use the Chaudfontaine name in the UK.

The product is likely to be launched early next year in the UK and French markets.

Coca-Cola supported the launch of its Dasani brand with a £7 million ad campaign claiming it was a "Pure, still water". In fact, it was discovered to be simply filtered tap water from Kent.
