The Week: Advertising news - Tories rap COI's £1bn spend

The Government has come under fire from the Conservative Party for spending £1 billion through COI since the 2005 election.

According to a report, £15.34 million was assigned to advertising for the Department for Transport, £13.7 million was spent on army recruitment, while an anti-smoking campaign cost £11.7 million.
