The Week: Advertising news - Radiohead lends ad music

For the first time in the band's history, Radiohead has allowed one of its tracks to be used in an ad.

The song, Videotape, appears in an ad for the homeless charity Shelter, created by Leo Burnett. The execution shows an inner-city landscape, as seen from a moving train. However, many of the buildings are constructed from cards and begin to collapse as the journey progresses.
