The Week: Advertising news - ASA endures busiest year

The Advertising Standards Authority chief executive, Guy Parker, has hit back at MPs who claim rules on alcohol advertising are too lenient and could encourage under-age drinking.

On Thursday, Parker appeared in front of the Health Select Committee with the Ofcom director of content and standards, Kate Stross, when the pair came under fire. Both Parker and Stross refuted the claims.
