General Motors Europe has made personalised route-planning available
on its web sites following a deal with AND Technology. All General Motors’
subsidiaries - Opel, Vauxhall, Saab, Chevrolet and Cadillac - can now
incorporate AND’s Europe-wide WebRoute system onto their web sites, and
brand it accordingly.
The service allows users to specify their location and destination, and
receive a suggested route.
Shell already features AND WebRoute on its web site (www.euroshell.com),
which even shows Shell petrol stations along any suggested route, and the
RAC will incorporate it in its forthcoming site.
