- WCRS today announced a number of top promotions, one of which sees the creation of the new post of vice chairman.

Richard Swaab, currently chairman of WCRS's management consultancy business, Galileo, is promoted to the position of agency vice chairman, where he will work closely with chairman Robin Wight and marketing director Amy Smith.

Paul Lawson, currently an account director, is promoted to head of account management. Lawson has been at the agency for four years, having joined after stints at both Lowe Howard-Spink and Grey.

Sarah Jacobs takes over from Colin Hickson as head of TV, following Hickson's departure for Propaganda Films in Hollywood. Jacobs, currently a producer at the agency, has been there just over a year. Prior to joining WCRS, she spent six years at J Walter Thompson.
