The brand has released a 60-second spot to demonstrate the power of the Galaxy Tab S screen versus the Apple iPad Air 2.

The ad shows a falcon soaring over the London skyline before pouncing on its "prey".

The Galaxy Tab S arrived in June, with Samsung hoping to boost sales over Christmas as consumers weigh up new rival tablets.

Samsung's corporate marketing vice president, Russell Taylor, said: "A key feature of the Galaxy Tab S is its ability to deliver rich, crisp colours and incredibly sharp images.

"We wanted an idea that would help us showcase this beautiful screen."
