Watch: the future of VR and 360-degree video for brands

YouTube's Ben McOwen Wilson and VR and 360-degree video specialists Visualise and Happy Finish speak to ±±¾©Èü³µpk10 about the BBC's Olympic coverage and Charlotte Tilbury's new video featuring Kate Moss.

Ben McOwen Wilson, director, YouTube EMEA said: "I think the amazing thing about 360-degree (video) on our platform is we're not trying to come up with the clever ideas.

"The BBC has been sharing 360-degree Olympics coverage on our platform and that's actually the first time I've seen something where there's a lot going on... As a consumer watching that, where you can actually walk around, that's the first time I've begun to see; there is a piece of content that I think is geuinely enhanced by being able to watch it in 360°."

In the video, we also hear from Daniel Cheetham, chief interactive officer, Happy Finish, on working with leading global beauty brand Charlotte Tilbury on the world's first 360-degree VR experience, starring Kate Moss. The ad was shot on the new Nokia OZO camera, the world’s first professional VR camera.
