Warp to offer digital music downloads

Warp Records has chosen the Designers Republic to design the site for its new digital download service, Bleep.com.

The electronic music label's entire back catalogue, including albums and singles by Aphex Twin, will be available for digital download from Bleep.com, along with deleted tracks, exclusives and rarities. Albums will cost users £6.99 and individual tracks 99p to download.

The web site has been built by digital agency Kleber.

All the original sleeve art is featured on the site, as well as full track listings. Artists are listed A-Z for simple navigation.

Ged Day, systems developer at Warp Records, commented: "The Warp output is perfectly suited to the digital download platform. Bleep.com will allow fans to locate any past or current Warp releases."

Bleep.com is the latest collaboration between the Designers Republic and Warp, a partnership that goes back well over a decade and has seen tDR create most of the record company's visual identity.
